   The ONLY SAMSUNG REMOTE THAT INCLUDED BOTH A TV SOURCE , AND POWER TO THE TV AND SOUND BAR . This may seem trivial to some but LG made theirs that way and with time warner cable it is nice to have . I bought a sound bar off here but no remote and it did not come as pictured and they did not have a replacement so I went to best buy and they were out of their minds so Craigslist it was for 99$ got the new 450 model I believe its called . Anyways the remote can replace your tv remote completely and the only reason you need the TV remote is for smart items (only Pandora radio is free so that’s all I use and to change the picture or sound… We only use the time warner remote and the new Samsung remote and its so small but still huge enough to clearly see all buttons . So this it to power on again the TV and sound bar and adjust volume then we use the cable remote for guide and channels . A perfect match (we tried to pair the cable remote to aux for sound but then would still need another remote for switching source so this was the simplest way and the cable remote is large and this fits in the palm of your hand so even in a pitch dark room there is no confusing the 2 .

   ( now having a high end smart TV it doesn’t matter as much but still nice to have )

   It works fantastic for my father’s Samsung television and his samsung sound bar. E doesn’t have to worry about 2 remotes any longer.

   Exact factory replacement. Now I have a matching “his” and “hers” unit for each side of the sofa when viewing.
