   My wife and I are in our 80’s so we have his and hers remotes. It saves time and painful moments on our aching legs to have a remote near at hand when we are sitting. I bought an extra remote thinking it would be a simple matter of entering the proper codes on the second remote as we have done in the past. Unfortunately, Samsung has implemented something called “Pairing” with it’s flat screen “smart” TV’s. This is a simple process but apparently the TV will not “Pair” or should I say “Triple?” with more than one remote at a time. I set the new remote to the TV with no problem at all but when it “Paired” it “Unpaired” with the existing remote leaving us no better off than before. We are very pleased with the TV otherwise and really delight in the fact that we can get “Vintage” movies off the internet as we find most modern movies offensive. We still use our older programmable remotes that will do everything on the new TV and cable box except switch to WiFi and browse the internet. For that we have to use the smart touch remote. As usual, Amazon and the seller were both very gracious to allow us to return the remote for a no questions questioned refund. We both shop on the internet often and I can’t tell you how much having a place like Amazon to shop means to us “past prime time” buyers. They are completely trustworthy and will always go the extra mile to make you pleased. No, I’m not on their payroll and believe me I have no difficulty complaining if I get the small end.

   This remote came with my 7500 series television. really like it because it is not all jumbled up with a bunch of buttons you rarely use. the TV comes with a virtual remote on screen with all of those buttons. the touch pad works well. if you want to go to channel 10 just trace a 10 with your finger and your there. still new to the system so working through the learning phase of it, but so far its fantastic !!

   I bought this remote so we could have two remotes for one TV. But, no where in the description of the remote did it say only one remote could be programmed for the TV. The second remote will only turn on and off the TV. Waste of money on my part.
