Bummed, but does what it should,
Testing the Samsung wireless cover vs generic wireless receiver pad: While they both recharged the battery in the same amount of time, the battery stays noticeably cooler when using the Samsung wireless cover.
When I originally bought the S5 at Verizon (mid April), I bought the high gloss silicone case (SMG900SILHGBLK). When I tried to place the same case over the new wireless charging cover, it did not fit. The wireless cover adds thickness, the buttons do not line up (this is where I was small bummed).
What I liked most about the wireless cover, I did not have to worry about wearing out the charger port seal (stays water resistant) and the wireless cover did not interfere with NFC.
FYI: When I registered the phone on Samsung’s (Find my mobile) I received 50% off any mobile accessory coupon that’s valid for 90 day’s.

Works, but feel like bait and switch,
It snaps on and works fine, but my Spigen Tough Armor case no longer fits. It’s already saved me from one drop on tile, so not a trade off I’m willing to make. Also, regarding comments about weight. I checked it on a postage scale. Original back cover is 0.4 oz and this one is 1.0 oz. Doesn’t sound like much, but it’s noticeable.

No More Looking For Wires Before Bed.,
Pros: No More Removing USB Cover at night before bed
Cons: slightly bulky.
Other: If you want to know how much bulkier it is, look at your original cover, take it off if you want… now lay it on a table and look at camera porthole, see how it sticks out? Well this cover is nearly the reverse of that. camera porthole is slightly in and flash/pulse reader is further in like the camera on ancient cover sticks out.
*** Red Outline is were it stretches the case (notice the shiny sides on the phone) but even when dropped it wont pop out of case***
The case im using is: https://www.metropcs.com/accessories/details/samsung-galaxy-s-5-gel-case-black/TPU1232.html
