   Small compact footprint and clean features onboard. Recommend this if you have newer UHD Samsung Smart tv’s, this worked out of box.

   We bought a show model from the Sams open box section. The list price on the UN60HU8500FZXA 4k was down to $2670. My hubby always checks that section for super buys. It sat in the store for about a month priced at $1660. Then when they marked it down of $1330 he bought it. They had lost all the extras. In fact they did not know it was 3D.

   My hubby went back to see if they had a copy of the free $100 of MGO at least. The Electrics manager found a $50 card at least but when we entered it in Sam sd une sd system it showed up as $100 not $50. So it was like getting this Pod Remotes for free, lol.. Then my hubby as him how to get the TV out of “Store Show Mode”. The manager dug around and found the huge long Smart Remote and after showing him how to do the trick, took pity on him and gave him the remote. Turns out when you b up from Sams you don’t get both remotes on our mod r l just the long one.

   After saving so much money and the Manager being so helpful spending $50 for this Pod Remote, 6 bucks for the IR Emitter (a small plug you attach to TV and place in front of Set Top Box so you can use the Sammy Remotes to operate you cable box with the Sammy remotes.
   We ordered the pod remote, an IR emitter and 3 pairs of 3D glasses for only $17 each. Adding 4 years Square Trade warranty, We lucked out and got a super sweet 3D 4k or SUHD TV for half price.

   OK this “pod” style remote is awesome. It is so quick to type with, plus it has voice search and a blue laser pointer. Fastest searcher of all our remotes.
   Our Roku 3 have voice search but they don’t work as well especially for voice email searching.

   I like this small guy. I h a very always despised the ancient Direct TV slow click on letter at a time. I always said to my buddy, why in the year 2015 are we such with clicking in one letter at a time to search. This small Sammy pod does the trick. $50 is a fantastic price for all the time it saves.

   As expected, but slightly flawed. Battery springs not strong enough and batteries float around in case.
