   Basically, this replaced a worn-out remote. The huge shock for me was that it worked with no setup. I was expecting an hour of wading through menus and even calling the customer support line. No hassle, works perfectly.

   Not too long ago, I lost the remote to my television. So I copied down the model and hit Amazon for a replacement. I found what appears to be a direct (after market?) replacement. It functions just like my ancient remote. The only difference between the OEM remote and this replacement is the end. The original remote has a slick, glossy end and the new remote has a slightly textured, matte end. It worked perfectly without any programming! Fantastic product! My TV’s model# LN46B550K1FXZA
