Simply solves the problem of too many remotes with out the crazy complexity of most unversal remotes.

I would make a couple changes to this remote but certainly not a deal breaker: Keep the arrow keys separate like on the Roku remote. Make user modifiable key caps for the channel buttons.

Works with my Roku 3 out of the box.

Within a couple minutes I had it controlling my Roku, the volume on my audio system and turning the TV on and off. This is all I needed from a remote, but until this remote, this was a ridiculous problem. I didn’t want the complexity of a Logitech. Other “universal” remotes, always seemed to not support something properly.

Minus 1 star:
The remote transmits for a fixed amount of time on any key press which is too long. This makes navigation slow because the device is waiting for transmission to stop to recognize multiple button presses or in some cases making it hard to get a button press recognized as only one.

Like this! We have dish and we used to have to go through a tech and have a remote sent and then all the stupid programming, took so long, was so complicated! Finally can place all that to an end!

This remote didn’t pair with my TCL Roku TV at all. Going to get a refund and hope another seller’s product really works.
Bottom line: If you have a TCL Roku TV, don’t waste your time and money.
